Media – Book, Film and Documentary Progress
1) We have the family of Dr. Ferguson, his associates and the owner of the drug development company completely on-board. We can produce the official, authorized and exclusive version of the events of this remarkable story.
2) The BOOK proposal is now being put forward by my literary agent and is currently under review by a moderate sized publishert. Hoping to hold out longer for a Random House level publisher to better support the film. It is written in the "enhanced non-fiction" style of Perfect Storm wherein we know the events and an astute writer recreates the interaction of the participants in this real event.
3) A remake of the FILM Medicine Man is ripe. This, The True Story, is perfectly timed to the re-emergence of alternative medicine for cancer given the wholesale failure of "cut, burn and poison" conventional profit-based quackery. We own the true story and will sell the screenplay (which derives from the book) for ten percent of gross – given the right circumstances.
4) The National Geographic type DOCUMENTARY we will produce ourselves. Mostly green-screen shooting, we initiate the production then seek development funding from a broadcast distributer.
